The 6th Annual Boston International Asian Music Festival will be held on June 20 in Lexington
The 6th Annual Boston International Asian Music Festival will once again make a stop in Lexington as part of its three-town tour. The Lexington concert will take place at Fletcher Park (Mass Ave. and Fletcher Road) beginning at 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 20.
This free family picnic concert features many acclaimed local musicians. Audiences will enjoy a diverse range of musical genres performed by Asian and non-Asian musicians from leading music institutions, alongside talented amateur musicians.
Pack a picnic, bring your family and friends, meet your neighbors, and enjoy this unique musical experience on a beautiful summer evening. Food can also be purchased onsite.
The concert series is produced by New Moon International and partnered with the Chinese American Association of Lexington (CAAL), Belmont Chinese American Association Acton Chinese-American Civic Society , WestonWestar and Boston International Media
Lexington AAPI 5K on May 10 was joined by over 600 Runners and Walkers
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage (AAPI) Month. the 5th annual AAPI 5K Run & Walk was held in Lexington, MA, on May 10, joining over 600 runners and walkers. This year’s theme, “Better Together: From Lex250 to America250,” highlights the importance of unity and shared progress. We celebrate the significant contributions of the AAPI community to this country and the idea that we are stronger together. The event also coincided with Mother’s Day. Every mom who participated received a beautiful rose!

The Chinese American Association of Lexington (CAAL) warmly invites the community to celebrate the Lunar New Year Gala 2026, honoring the Year of the Horse, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Cary Hall in Lexington. Under the theme “Better Together,” the gala highlights unity, shared joy, and collective strength, inspired by the Horse’s symbolism of vitality and progress. The evening will be a festive reunion filled with cultural performances, music, dance, and storytelling that reflect both tradition and cross-cultural harmony.
CAAL is also welcoming performer submissions from individuals and groups, including original works, youth and community showcases, dance, martial arts, and traditional Chinese music. Applicants must submit a performance video through this link, with a deadline of December 31, 2025, and selected performers will be notified by January 15, 2026.
