CAAL Mid Autumn Celebration -Free Pickleball Open Play

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, CAAL is hosting a Free Pickleball Open Play. Players of all levels are welcome!

High-level players and professional coaches will be on site to guide you, helping you learn the basic rules, techniques, and more about pickleball. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, you're welcome to join!

Free mooncake tasting and tea will be provided.

CAAL Better Together Cup Pickleball Tournament

Date: November 14–15, 2026 ‍ ‍‍ ‍Venue: The Picklr Burlington

THosted by the Chinese American Association of Lexington (CAAL), this regional tournament brings together players from Lexington and neighboring communities through a sport we all enjoy — because we’re simply better together when we play together.

Premium indoor venue — 8 dedicated championship-size courts at The Picklr Burlington. 

No DUPR impact — ratings will be used for division placement, but match results will not affect your DUPR 

Cash prizes & Medals for top finishers in every division 

12 Divisions for ALL levels — including Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, plus Senior divisions; Round-robin format designed to give players multiple guaranteed matches 

Free tea and refreshments for all players

2026 Autumn Peking Opera Showcase - The Boston Peking Opera Association Presents

Time: Saturday, October 31, 2026, 7:00–9:30 PM Location: Cary Hall, Lexington, MA

As autumn reaches its peak in October, with chrysanthemums in bloom and maple leaves turning brilliant red, the Boston Peking Opera Association, together with the Chinese American Association of Lexington, has carefully prepared a special evening of Peking Opera for audiences across Greater Boston.

The performance, titled “A Golden Autumn of Peking Opera,” will be presented at Lexington’s renowned Cary Memorial Hall, featuring a high-quality program that celebrates the artistry and tradition of Peking Opera.

To help new residents quickly adapt to the environment and integrate into community life, the CAAL Community Services Committee (CsCAAL) will host a Newcomer Welcome Reception at the Lexington Community Center from 11am-1:30 PM on September 12, 2026. We will share information on a wealth of community resources, exchange practical life experiences, and introduce Lexington's education, culture, and services. We welcome all new residents and those who care about community development to attend and begin a new chapter in Lexington together!
